I I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with my Supervision Endorsement (LPCC-S). I have extensive, and broad-based experience across a wide range of clinical settings: including school-based environments, community mental health/social service organizations, integrated dual diagnosis treatment (IDDT) teams, criminal justice, and serving on drug court dockets. I hold two Master's Degrees from John Carroll University in School Counseling (K-12), and Elementary Education (K-8), and an Educational Specialist Degree from Kent State University in
Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
My therapeutic approach is client-centered, and strengths-based whereby I do my best to develop a strong conversational partnership with my clients and their families. It is my firm belief that clients are the experts of their own stories. I utilize Motivational Interviewing to draw clients out, and guide them on their own personal, individualized, and self-selected journeys of change, respecting their own pace and desired outcomes.

With specialized expertise in addictions, mood disorders (i.e. anxiety & depression), ADHD, trauma, relationship issues, grief, men's issues, and adjustment disorders. I prefer to employ a variety of modalities, and techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as Solution-Focused, Narrative, Positive Psychology, and Brief Therapy. I am committed to offering a safe, non-judgmental, and trusting environment that allows space for my clients to identify, and explore their emotions, re-author their own stories/narratives, and
improve on their resiliency, protective factors, and quality of life indicators.
